What we treat

Conditions we see most

Detailed pages are in Dutch. If you would like to know how we approach a condition, call or email us and we will explain it in English.

Your first visit

What to expect

We start with a conversation about your complaint, your history, work, sport and sleep. Then we examine how you move, explain what we find and, where appropriate, treat with hands-on techniques. You leave with a clear plan and a few exercises.

Treatment is combined with explanation and exercise, because that combination is what guidelines support for conditions such as back and neck pain.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a referral?

No. You can book directly.

Is osteopathy covered by Dutch health insurance?

It is not covered by basic health insurance, but many supplementary (aanvullende) policies reimburse it. Limits and conditions differ per policy, for example which professional register your osteopath belongs to. Check your policy before your first visit.

What happens at the first appointment?

Do you only treat with manual techniques?

No. Hands-on treatment is combined with explanation and exercises, because that combination is what guidelines support for conditions such as back and neck pain.
